Baton Rouge, LA - Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge, along with the presenting sponsor, tipton associates specializing in architecture, planning and interiors, announce the SECOND ANNUAL STORYBOOK BALL to be held on March 27, 2010 5:00 – 9:00 pm at the Baton Rouge River Center. Come and join us for an enchanted and magical evening for the entire family. The “candy cane lane” setting will take you through life-sized new and familiar Storybook modules. Every Storybook will have an activity or project item for each child to take away with them. The Storybook Ball will also feature a carriage for photo shoots, along with other settings to pose in, train ride and more. Adults and children are invited to dress as their favorite storybook character or cocktail attire. A silent auction is planned, as well as a raffle for two round trip tickets on American Airlines/American Eagle for anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, Canada or Mexico.
Presenting Sponsor for the event is tipton associates. Additional sponsors to date are: Albemarle Foundation, Boo Grigsby Foundation, Capital One, Dr. Kay Solar, LA Safety Council, Manda Fine Meats, Postlethwaite and Netterville, Raising Canes Chicken Fingers and Sally Wood.
Music, dancing, food and beverages will make this a night to remember for all that attend.
Tickets are $100 per adult and $25 per youth and reserved tables for 10 can be purchased for$1,000 (tables of 10 must be purchased by calling 225-201-8888). Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge is a private non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that coordinates the services of more than 104 non-profit, private, public and governmental agencies to families in one central location. This “one-stop” network is designed to help build stronger and healthier families with programs that address many of the specific health, social, and economic problems that have been identified in our community

Background and History
- Served over 41,000 families in 2008 in the Greater Baton Rouge Area
- Opened December 1998, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana through Woman’s Hospital-Ten Year Anniversary
- Provides direct services to families through three major programs: Building Strong Families, Dedicated Dads and Healthy Start.
