The Dedicated Dads Fatherhood Program wants to promote responsible, committed fatherhood by educating dads in child development and promoting strong relationships, training dads to better their socio-economic status, and challenging dads to become positive forces within their family and community.




CURRICULUM & PEER SUPPORT GROUPS
Dedicated Dads offers peer and curriculum groups where dads discuss important topics concerning fatherhood and have the opportunity to connect with other dads. Session topics include:

  • MALE/FEMALE RELATIONSHIPS
  • BUILDING YOUR CHILD'S SELF ESTEEM
  • COPING AS A SINGLE FATHER

    • JOB READINESS SERVICE ASSISTANCE
    Through one-on-one case management and curriculum groups, Dedicated Dads helps dads to enhance their job skills and improve their economic status. Seminar topics include:

  • SELF ASSESSMENT
  • COMMUNICATION AND ASSERTIVENESS
  • BALANCING WORK AND FAMILY ROLES

    • SUPER SATURDAYS & SPECIAL EVENTS
    We sponsor events for our dads and their families in order to promote dads spending more time with their children. Events include: amusement park trips, football games, tailgate parties, dinners, banquets, carnivals, picnics, etc. Our program is open to all fathers regardless of race, age and socio-economic status.
